After listening to the speeches of the crew members of the "Snow Dragon" Antarctic scientific research ship, Antarctic Great Wall Station and Zhongshan Station, and the "Ocean" ship, Han Zheng said that the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have always attached great importance to the scientific investigation of polar oceans. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with the Supreme Leader as the core, great achievements have been made in China’s deep-sea polar work, and the ability to understand, protect and utilize the deep-sea polar regions has been significantly enhanced. The vast number of polar ocean workers have overcome various difficulties and made important contributions to the development of deep-sea polar scientific research in China.
Han Zheng encouraged the team members to keep in mind the great trust of the motherland and people, make persistent efforts, make tenacious efforts, carry out in-depth scientific investigations, and strive to make more new progress and breakthroughs, make new contributions to accelerating the construction of a maritime power, and make greater contributions to human scientific understanding and peaceful utilization of the polar ocean.
