Kay Wing’s five new energy vehicles appeared at the World Power Battery Conference.

The five models are Kunlun i HD, i-EA 01, i-EA 02, Xuandu EV and (|)EV. They are respectively positioned as plug-in hybrid medium-sized SUV, three-door miniature pure electric vehicle, five-door miniature pure electric vehicle, compact pure electric vehicle and compact pure electric SUV. The price ranges from entry-level to 200,000 yuan, including products such as plug-in and pure electricity. Let’s introduce them to you one by one.
● Kunlun i HD
Kunlun i HD is positioned as a plug-in hybrid medium-sized SUV, which is expected to be launched in February 2024. Its fuel version was launched on March 20 this year, and the pre-sale price of Kunlun i HD model was announced, with the pre-sale price range of 159,900-239,900 yuan. Kunlun i HD is built on the i-FA platform, which is on the same platform as Starway Eta Ursae Majoris and Chery Tiggo 9. The pure battery life is available in three versions: 110km, 180km and 260km, and the comprehensive cruising range is close to 1300km.
In terms of appearance, Kunlun i HD adopts a front-penetrating starlight group and a borderless flying wing grille. The whole front face is impressive, and the Kunlun i HD net shows different styles. The rear of the car echoes the headlight group and lights up with the luminous LOGO. There are three waistlines on the side of the car, showing the vigorous body of Kunlun Snow Leopard hunting. In terms of body color, the new car offers five exterior colors: Jade Dragon White, Glacier Silver, Rock Grey, Sapphire Blue and Crystal Purple, and body decorative strips and brake calipers in three colors: electroplated silver, Hermes Orange and light tea gold. In terms of vehicle size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4738/1968/1708mm and the wheelbase is 2820mm respectively.
For the interior, the new car is designed with an embracing space capsule, 256-color ambient lights, equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument and a 14.6-inch 2K HD screen. With deep cooperation with Tencent, voice control can execute more than 500 voice commands in 30 categories, including windows, seats, air conditioning, music, navigation, entertainment, scene mode, App and so on. Gaode and Tencent dual maps, Tencent TAI 4.0 ecology, Huawei Hicar and Baidu Carlife large-screen wireless interconnection. The electronic handle of prism crystal technology is carefully carved out with 45 profiles. The new car can also realize many functions such as fatigue driving reminder, distracted driving reminder, occupant monitoring, living thing monitoring and so on. FACE-ID association provides personalized setting services for different drivers.
In terms of seats, the new car provides Nappa textured ergonomic seats, including electric adjustment, voice adjustment, seat welcome, seat memory, lumbar support, ventilation, heating and other functions, providing five seats and seven seats. There are also baby-teasing, nap, smoking, romance, karaoke, night driving, racing and camping modes. The trunk volume of the new car is 546L, and the second and third rows of seats are laid down, and the trunk volume reaches 1566L.
In terms of power, Kunlun i HD is equipped with Xiaoyun 1.5T engine+BYD Foday Power Cooperation DHT hybrid system, with the maximum power of 102kW for the engine and 150kW for the driving motor. It has various working modes of pure electric, series, parallel and direct engine drive, and has three versions of pure electric cruising range: 110km, 180km and 260km. The comprehensive cruising range is close to 1300km, and the fuel consumption is 5.4l/year.
● i-EA 01/i-EA 02
I-EA 01/i-EA 02 is a brand-new product based on the i-EA pure electric platform. i-EA 01 is a three-door miniature pure electric vehicle, and i-EA 02 is a five-door miniature pure electric vehicle. i-EA 01 is expected to be listed in October 2023. During this battery conference, the global name collection activity will be officially launched. I-EA 02 will be launched in December, 2023. At the same time, i-EA02 is developing the sodium ion battery version and the extended-range version simultaneously, and is currently in the verification stage.
『i-EA 01』
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the appearance color of the national trend, which is officially called the "milk fierce" front face shape. The triangular LED headlights look very sharp and are connected through the LOGO. It adopts suspended roof design, hidden door handle and a waistline running through the whole body. The rear spoiler relies on aerodynamic design and through taillights, and the whole shape is very delicate. In terms of vehicle size, the length, width and height of the three-door version are 3370/1700/1610mm and the wheelbase is 2170mm respectively. The five-door version has a length, width and height of 3725/1700/1610mm and a wheelbase of 2520mm.
『i-EA 02』
In terms of interior, the interior color matching echoes the appearance, and the interior elements also adopt a round and lovely shape. It includes a suspended LCD instrument panel and a central control panel, a decorative strip runs through the entire center console, and the seat adopts a two-color color scheme. In terms of configuration, the new car includes main and auxiliary airbags, ramp assist, panoramic image, CarLife, leather seats, driving recorder, remote control and so on. The trunk has a space of 130L, which can accommodate a 20-inch suitcase.
『i-EA 01』
『i-EA 02』
In terms of power, Kaiyi i-EA 01 will adopt the layout of front single motor, with the maximum power of 40 kW, and equipped with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited lithium iron phosphate battery. The official said that it will provide three different cruising ranges (CLTC working conditions) of 200/300km in the future. Kaiyi i-EA 02, on the other hand, adopts the layout of front single motor, and the maximum power of single motor will reach 50 kW. The endurance pure electric version will have three options: 200/300/400 km (under CLTC working condition), with free choice of fast and slow charging, and 31kW can be charged to 80% in half an hour.
● Xuandu EV
Xuandu EV is the key model of Kaiyi Automobile for the To B market, and it will not be for private consumers at present. At present, Kaiyi Automobile has signed an order for Xuandu EV with 150,000 vehicles in five years with Shenzhen Orange Power New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.. Xuandu EV is positioned as a compact pure electric car, which is expected to be launched in January 2024.
In terms of appearance, the new car is based on the fuel version, and its appearance is basically the same as that of the fuel version, including the upper and lower layered grille design and the distinctive fog light area design on both sides. The net of the pure electric model adopts a fully enclosed design. The EV logo is added to the fender of the new car, and the charging interfaces are located in the left front fender and the right rear fender respectively, which are not integrated.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4700/1825/1483mm and the wheelbase is 2700mm respectively. The rear of the new car is basically unchanged, and even the two-way imitation exhaust decoration continues to be used. In addition, with the narrow taillight design, it shows a good sense of movement. In terms of configuration, the new car will be equipped with a 540-degree panoramic image and a full-scene safety early warning system.
In terms of interior, the new car adopts a two-color interior design, the center console has a three-dimensional sense of hierarchy, and a floating central control panel is used, and the physical button design is retained under the air outlet of the air conditioner.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 120 kW and a maximum torque of 210 Nm. In terms of battery life, the new car will provide two versions of battery life, and the cruising range of CLTC is 350km respectively.
● Xuanjie EV
Hyun Jie new energy vehicle, currently plans to launch EV version and REEV version. Hyun Jie REEV is a compact extended-range electric SUV, and the extended-range version is equipped with BYD’s advanced extended-range system. In the A0 SUV market segment, Xuanjie REEV is the only extended-range product with a pure battery life of over 110 kilometers. At present, the product is in the market verification stage, and the EV version is a compact pure electric SUV. This exhibition only shows the appearance.
In terms of appearance, Xuanjie EV reduces the size of the mesh, adopts the design of borderless mesh, and the headlights adopt the teardrop design and include lenses. The rear of the vehicle is very close to the design of Tiggo 5x, and chrome trim strips are added to the taillights.
As for the interior, although it was not made public this time, referring to the information of the previous fuel version, it is expected that the new car will adopt the design of double screen, with black interior assisted by silver decoration, and the physical buttons are mainly located in the lower part of the center console, and at the same time, on the rear side of the gearbox, a multimedia system control area and an electronic handbrake are also provided.
In terms of power, the car uses a front-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 120kW and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The battery uses a 53.6kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, and the cruising range of CLTC is 401km, which supports fast charging.

After a year’s efforts, Kaiyi currently has different models of new energy vehicles in the field of new energy vehicles, such as pure electricity, plug-in, extended range, etc., and the products cover different market segments. The launch of these five products also confirms the results of the efforts in the past year. At present, Kaiyi has three technical platforms, i-FA, i-EA and i-XA, and an i-CAR intelligent cockpit platform.
From January to April this year, Kaiyi Automobile achieved sales of 12,636 units, up 184% year-on-year, and will ensure the production and sales of 60,000 units and strive for 80,000 units throughout the year.
